Basketball Recap: Kate Minton Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Tabernacle Christian

Colonial Christian won the last time they faced Tabernacle Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Colonial Christian Cougars came out on top against the Tabernacle Christian Eagles by a score of 51-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Colonial Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Minton, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards. Minton has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addie Gillen, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 14 points.

Colonial Christian's record now sits at 10-5. As for Tabernacle Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
