Softball Recap: Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers vs. Somerset Eagles
Westmont Hilltop couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They suffered a rough 17-11 loss at the hands of the Somerset Eagles on Tuesday. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
Quinn Kuzmiack made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Kist, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Westmont Hilltop will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Carroll at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somerset, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bedford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
