Softball Recap: Sebastopol Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sebastopol couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 12-1 to the East Union Urchins on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bobcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sebastopol saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marlee Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Sebastopol's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 27-7. As for East Union, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-3.

As of now, neither Sebastopol nor the Urchins have any future games scheduled.
