Football Recap: Northside Methodist Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northside Methodist Academy played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-13 loss at the hands of the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Trinity Presbyterian found their leader in freshman Land Sharpless, who threw for 164 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes. Those four passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Sharpless. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Boswell, who gained 88 total yards and two touchdowns.

Northside Methodist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
