Baseball Game Preview: Faith Christian Lions vs. Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder

For the second straight game, Faith Christian will face off against Jacksonville Christian Academy. The Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Thunder at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Christian has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 13.

Faith Christian fell victim to Jacksonville Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Thunder, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

For Jacksonville Christian Academy's part, not much got past Jessie Gannaway, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Faith Christian off the board. Gannaway has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Noah Lee was a standout: he scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Daffron, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Jacksonville Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
