DeWitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the East Lansing Trojans 64-30. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-39 back in January.

East Lansing was led to victory by Cameron Hutson and Kelvin (KJ) Torbert, Jr.. Hutson went 7-for-15 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, while Torbert, Jr. posted 20 points and six boards. Hutson's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Dequarius (DQ) Stewart, who earned four points.

DeWitt's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for East Lansing, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

DeWitt has already played their next matchup, a 47-34 loss against Everett on the 14th. As for East Lansing, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-31 victory against Holt on the 14th.
