D1 District 4 (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played on Thursday and Friday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Barrett Wilke's Big Game Leads Stanton over Elkhorn Valley

Barrett Wilke was instrumental in extending Stanton's winning streak to 19 on Friday. Wilke did his part (and then some), rushing for 310 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 17.2 yards per carry for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 124 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Wilke must have Elkhorn Valley's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Wilke saw the Falcons), he rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes.

Stanton Wins 19th-Straight Thanks to Becker Pohlman

Stanton picked up their 19th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Becker Pohlman. Pohlman picked up a sack and made eight total tackles. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (185) he has had since back in November of 2023.
