Basketball Recap: Twin Lakes Takes a Loss

After flying high against Frontier last Tuesday, Twin Lakes came back down to earth. The Twin Lakes Indians were beaten by the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights 85-40 on Thursday. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-18.

Twin Lakes' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addyson Hines, who went 7 for 17 on her way to 16 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine West, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Twin Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Lakes will head out to square off against Culver Academies at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge West Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
