Baseball Recap: Kettle Moraine Comes Up Short

Kettle Moraine fell victim to Waukesha West and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Lasers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kettle Moraine's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Waukesha West, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Kettle Moraine will head out to challenge Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lasers will need to watch out since the Sabers have now posted at least ten runs in their last nine matchups. As for Waukesha West, they will be playing at home against Arrowhead at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.63 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of.
