Basketball Recap: Robinson Falls Despite Big Games from Jeven Muns and Landen Turnbo

Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 57-34 to the Connally Cadets. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1103rd, while the Cadets are ranked 472nd).

Landen Turnbo and Jeven Muns certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Turnbo posted 11 points, while Muns put up eight points. Those eight points gave Muns a new career-high.

Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-23. As for Connally, their victory bumped their record up to 19-13.

Robinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Connally, they will head out on the road to face off against Gateway College Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway College Preparatory will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Connally surely won't give up without a fight.
