After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pacifica, West Ranch was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 35-6 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Cooper Jackson looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 161 yards and three touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (107 yards to be exact) went to Charlie Samuelson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

West Ranch's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Kyler Garrity and Tj Dennis.

The win got West Ranch back to even at 1-1. As for Cleveland, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

West Ranch will be playing in front of their home fans against Antelope Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cleveland, they will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on September 13th.
