Softball Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

The Homer Pelicans came up short against the Summerfield Rebels on Tuesday, falling 18-1. The Pelicans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Homer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Summerfield, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Homer will challenge Arcadia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Summerfield will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Saline at 4:00 p.m. on March 4th.
