Soccer Game Preview: Christian Brothers vs. Collierville

Christian Brothers is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Houston last Sunday. Christian Brothers fell just short of Houston by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Purple Wave in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Collierville put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over St. George's. Rex Shaver had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Dragons.

Collierville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Christian Brothers, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Christian Brothers skirted past Collierville 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christian Brothers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
