The Kelseyville Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Cloverdale Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kelseyville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Last Friday, Kelseyville was able to grind out a solid victory over Clear Lake, taking the game 7-3.

Brock Barrick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kelseyville let Max Hommer and Kyle Watkins run wild. Hommer scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Watkins scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Kelseyville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Cloverdale didn't have quite enough to beat Fort Bragg on Friday and fell 8-7. The Eagles have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Coby Haug made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Cash Langston, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Kelseyville pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cloverdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Cloverdale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kelseyville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .399. It's a different story for Cloverdale, though, as they've only averaged .213. Will they be able to contain Kelseyville's hitters?
Kelseyville took their win against Cloverdale in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 16-3 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
