Baseball Recap: Melcher-Dallas Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Melcher-Dallas's offense. They came up short against the Moravia Mohawks on Friday, falling 12-0. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Mohawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Melcher-Dallas' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Moravia, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Melcher-Dallas is taking a road trip to challenge Ankeny Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moravia, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-5 defeat against Fairfield on the 31st.
