Basketball Recap: Southwest Florida Christian Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Southwest Florida Christian King took a blow against the Martin County Tigers, falling 92-39. The game marked the King's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Southwest Florida Christian still got an impressive performance from Asa Rogosich, who posted 23 points. The matchup was Rogosich's 16th in a row with at least ten points.

It was another big night for Ari Smith, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points along with five assists and four steals for Martin County. That's the most steals Smith has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Brazell, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 12 points and five assists.

Southwest Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Martin County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
