Peetz and Caliche are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Peetz Bulldogs will face off against the Caliche Buffaloes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

In Tuesday's Canine Competition, Peetz had to take the L. They fell 47-38 to Idalia on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Caliche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-47 heartbreaker at the hands of Arickaree.

Peetz will have to keep a close watch on Avery Bell and Mason Hernandez, a pair of players who had a big impact on Caliche's prior game. Bell dropped a double-double with 21 points and 17 boards, while Hernandez dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Those 17 boards gave Bell a new career-high. Amman Adolf also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Caliche's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Peetz, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.

Peetz strolled past Caliche in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 69-51. Will Peetz repeat their success, or does Caliche have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
