Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garden Valley). Everything went their way against the Rimrock Raiders on Friday as they made off with a 30-20 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Gabriella Gillette, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, six stolen bases, and eight RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lacey Tucker, who got on base in six of her seven plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and five RBI.

Garden Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .780. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Garden Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.3 runs over those games. As for Rimrock, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.
