Basketball Game Preview: S & S Consolidated Rams vs. Blue Ridge Tigers

The S & S Consolidated Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Blue Ridge Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. S & S Consolidated has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 15.

On Friday, S & S Consolidated had to suffer through a 52-19 loss at the hands of Bells. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1060th, while the Panthers are ranked 307th).

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to Howe.

S & S Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Everything came up roses for S & S Consolidated against Blue Ridge in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, as the team secured a 56-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for S & S Consolidated since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
