AAAA Region 1 Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Truell Made His Presence Known in New Hampstead's 34-22 Loss
Starting off the list is New Hampstead's Rashawn Truell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Truell threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 300 passing yards dating back to last season.
Truell will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Wayne County on Friday. The Phoenix had to take a loss when they last met the Yellow Jackets, but Truell had little to do with the loss: he threw for 350 yards and two touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
