Basketball Recap: Seton Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Seton Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Norwich Purple Tornado and fell 69-25. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 539th, while the Purple Tornado are ranked 257th).

Seton Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Norwich, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Seton Catholic Central will challenge Chenango Forks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Norwich, they will square off against Susquehanna Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Norwich has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
