Softball Recap: Show Low Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Show Low never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Alchesay Falcons 20-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Rylee Wyatt looked comfortable as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Show Low got a massive performance out of Aspyn Clark, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs Clark has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Addisyn Clark, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.

Show Low kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in six consecutive matchups.

Show Low pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 16.2 runs. As for Alchesay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Show Low will venture away from home to take on Holbrook at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alchesay, they will head out to square off against Miami at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
