Baseball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Weed Cougars by a score of 4-3. The loss leaves the Cubs still looking for their first win of the season.

Nate Melton was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.

Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Weed, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Anderson will be playing at home against Etna at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Weed, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Biggs on the 28th.
