Basketball Recap: Edgemont Comes Up Short

Edgemont and Philip squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Edgemont had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Philip Scotties and fell 72-36. The Moguls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

Despite the loss, Edgemont still got an impressive performance from Keaton Darrow, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 20 points and three steals. Darrow has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Morse, who posted ten points and three steals.

Edgemont dropped their record down to 6-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Philip, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15.

Edgemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Philip, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 80-40 defeat against Wall on the 4th.
