Baseball Recap: Roseau Rams vs. Crookston Pirates
Roseau barely beat Crookston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 13-4 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Trey Mertens made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Mertens was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
