Softball Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short

Bowie lost against Rivercrest last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Bowie came up short against Rivercrest, falling 9-3. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bowie saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tatum Tyndell, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Tyndell has posted since back in April of 2024.

Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Rivercrest, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bowie is set to challenge their familiar foe Maud at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rivercrest will take on rival Detroit at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
