Preview: Denver Jewish Day Tigers vs. Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes

Lev Friedman and Keenan Winnerman were among the main playmakers for Denver Jewish Day as the former scored 25 points along with five rebounds and the latter almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Friedman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Solly Bielsky, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Bishop Machebeuf waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They claimed a resounding 82-42 win over Lyons at home. Bishop Machebeuf has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Denver Jewish Day pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Bishop Machebeuf, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
Denver Jewish Day couldn't quite finish off the Buffaloes when the teams last played back in February of 2023 and fell 52-50. Can Denver Jewish Day avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
