Softball Recap: Beebe Victorious

Beebe had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a run and slipped past the Quitman Bulldogs 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Badgers have posted since May 16, 2025.

Paydon Wiles spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, Beebe's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Maddy Hall, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Beebe hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive contests.

Beebe's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Quitman, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Coming up, Beebe will challenge Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Quitman, they will be playing at home against West Side at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
