League recap: Noldon breaks off league-leading run for Arkoma

C District 4 (8 Man) recap Oct. 16, 2012

Arkoma's Tyree Noldon recorded the longest rushing play in C District 4 (8 Man) this season in his game against Eagle Point Christian Academy last week. Noldon scampered for 85 yards on the play and finished with 106 on the day as his team beat the Eagles.

Webbers Falls was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Maud. The Warriors came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.

Sasakwa's dynamic duo of Floyd House and Trevor Morris proved tough for Midway to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. House threw for 68 yards and three touchdowns and Morris had 61 yards receiving. Cody Harjo helped Sasakwa's passing attack out by catching one ball for seven yards.

Jeremiah Comer made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Vikings beat the Chargers. The 6-foot-2 senior recorded one fumble.

Talon Woolsey was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 114 yards on seven carries as Arkoma defeated Midway.

Mark Weatherton's team's Nathan Gragg and Noldon have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gragg has thrown for 380 yards this season, while Noldon, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 15 catches for 357 yards. Johnie Loggins' team's Forrest Henry leads the league in rushing yards with 617.

Two of the top units in C District 4 (8 Man) will face off this week when the Vikings take on Webbers Falls. Sasakwa's offense has recorded 262 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Shawn Dismuke's team has permitted only 70 on the year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Vikings take on the Warriors. Sasakwa is in fourth place, while Webbers Falls is in first place.

Thackerville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bokoshe, 15-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
