Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marvin Ridge walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the D.H. Conley Vikings on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Mavericks sure are getting used to it with their 21st in a row.

While Marvin Ridge might've won, it sure wasn't easy: D.H. Conley scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 25-22.

Natalie Unkrich paced Marvin Ridge's offense, picking up 16 kills. Unkrich got some help from Jillian Young and her 37 assists. Unkrich was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, D.H. Conley had strong showings from Paige Money, who had 16 digs and six assists, and Faith Mitchum, who had 12 digs. Money is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Marvin Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 32-2. As for D.H. Conley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 26-3 record.

As of now, neither Marvin Ridge nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
