Volleyball Game Preview: Langford Lions vs. Wilmot Wolves + How To Watch

Langford is 8-2 against Wilmot since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lions will take on the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Langford is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since September 6th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Waubay/Summit. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Langford was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-99), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-21, 16-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Meanwhile, in Thursday's Canine Competition, Wilmot came out on top. They put the hurt on Waverly/South Shore with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-16.

Wilmot picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-14. As for Langford, their record is now 9-14.

Langford skirted past Wilmot 2-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
