Softball Recap: North Providence Comes Up Short

North Providence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Central Falls Warriors.

Makenna Heon was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

North Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Central Falls, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

North Providence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Toll Gate on the 12th. As for Central Falls, they have also already played their next game, a 26-15 defeat against Middletown on the 12th.
