Basketball Recap: Hatton Comes Up Short

Hatton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colbert County Indians. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 78-70.

Hatton's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Colbert County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hatton has already played their next game (against Lauderdale County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Colbert County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sheffield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
