Grayson McKelvey posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 15 over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

McKelvey's strong effort led Aledo over Saginaw and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
