The Lincoln Northwest Falcons are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Hastings Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lincoln Northwest is leaving town to face Hastings after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The matchup between Lincoln Northwest and Ashland-Greenwood didn't end well, with Lincoln Northwest falling 47-32. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 18 in a row dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Hastings didn't have quite enough to beat Standing Bear on Friday and fell 35-33.

Lincoln Northwest came up short against Hastings in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 48-35. Can Lincoln Northwest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
