Volleyball Recap: Helena Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Huskies on Saturday. Helena fell 2-0 to Hewitt-Trussville. Helena's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Sydney Strawbridge and Monroe Bouler, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Cantley and her ten assists. Riley Woods controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Helena's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Helena has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Tuscaloosa County on the 27th. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Gardendale on the 27th.
