Basketball Recap: Twin Valley South Comes Up Short

Twin Valley South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 50-32 fall against the Newton Local Indians. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Twin Valley South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Newton Local, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Twin Valley South will take on Tri-County North in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton Local has already played their next game, a 41-25 loss against Houston on the 14th.
