While Bloomfield didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the East Eagles by a score of 6-2 on Thursday. Those six runs were actually the fewest the Bombers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory made it two in a row for Bloomfield and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for East, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will square off against Brighton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for East, they will challenge Mendon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
