Hillcrest won the last time they faced Easley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hillcrest Rams narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Easley Green Wave 60-57. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Easley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Drey Jackson, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Jackson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Campbell, who posted 14 points.

Hillcrest now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Easley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Hillcrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-36 loss against Woodmont on the 31st. As for Easley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-59 defeat against Greenville on the 31st.
