Valor Christian waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They really took it to the Chatfield Chargers for the full four quarters, racking up an 85-39 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Valor Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Jones, who went 10 for 18 en route to 26 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Jones has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Frankie Liberatore also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Valor Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Chatfield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sadie Goodwin went 6 of 15 on her way to 17 points. Josie Lynch was another key player, putting up six points and three blocks.

Valor Christian's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Chatfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Valor Christian will square off against Arvada West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arvada West is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for Chatfield, they will face off against Ralston Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
