Los Fresnos had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Veterans Memorial Chargers onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Chargers are ranked 224th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vicente Tamayo and Leo Perez scored both of Los Fresnos' goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Los Fresnos pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for Veterans Memorial, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-7-1.
