Baseball Game Preview: Anson Bearcats vs. Red Springs Red Devils

The Anson Bearcats will square off against the Red Springs Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Anson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Mount Pleasant just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 8-7.

Meanwhile, Red Springs came up short against Fairmont on Thursday, falling 10-2.

Red Springs saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taquan TJ Ellerbe, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Red Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Anson, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
