Football Game Preview: Seiling Wildcats vs. Boise City Wildcats

Seiling will challenge Boise City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seiling knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Boise City likes a good challenge.

Seiling played against Ringwood on Friday and won via forfeit.

Boise City is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Okeene, who was ranked second at the time (Boise City was ranked 12th). The Wildcats had to suffer through a 46-8 loss at the hands of the Whippets. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Seiling's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Boise City, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Everything came up roses for Seiling against Boise City in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 54-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seiling since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
