Bartram Trail and Fletcher squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bartram Trail had to settle for second. They took a 25-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Senators. The Bears' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Although Bartram Trail took the loss, they still got scores from Kianna Khun, Lily Holden, and Bralynne McDonald.

Bartram Trail didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Khun and McDonald. Khun got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bartram Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Fletcher, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bartram Trail will challenge Pace at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fletcher, they will face off against Fleming Island at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Senators have won six straight at home, while the Golden Eagles won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
