Baseball Recap: Spring Lake Triumphs

While Spring Lake's victory against Holland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lakers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Dutch on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-3 on Monday.

The victory made it two in a row for Spring Lake and bumps their season record up to 27-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Holland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

Spring Lake will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dutch: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
