After having lost a blowout in their previous game against 'Iolani, Estrella Foothills was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 68-27 win over the Deer Valley Skyhawks. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 32 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Estrella Foothills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eva Amenhauser, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 boards. Amenhauser has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nemo Sidhu, who went 7 for 17 on her way to 20 points.

Estrella Foothills was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Deer Valley only posted six assists.

Deer Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samantha Romero, who posted six points and eight rebounds. Lilah Clark was another key player, putting up six points.

Estrella Foothills' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.4 points per game. As for Deer Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Estrella Foothills will look to defend their home court on Friday against Peoria at 7:00 p.m. Peoria will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Estrella Foothills surely won't give up without a fight. As for Deer Valley, they will take on Cactus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deer Valley is facing Cactus at the right time seeing as Cactus is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
