Daviess County has gone 9-1 against Apollo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Daviess County Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Apollo Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Daviess County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Apollo likes a good challenge.

If Daviess County beats Apollo with 77 points on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Daviess County took down Webster County 77-60 on Friday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Trojans are ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apollo). They claimed a resounding 85-50 win over John Hardin.

Daviess County pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Apollo, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
