Baseball Game Preview: Plymouth Panthers vs. Ripon Tigers

Plymouth is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Ripon a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Plymouth Panthers will be playing at home against the Ripon Tigers at 4:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Plymouth lost 11-4 to Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Thursday.

Plymouth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Krebsbach, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Krebsbach's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Ripon fell victim to Manitowoc Lincoln and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Ships, falling 11-0.

Plymouth's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Ripon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Plymouth's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. The Panthers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Ripon, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Plymouth continue to outrun the ball?
