Preview: Coolidge Yellowjackets vs. Milford Bulldogs
The Coolidge Yellowjackets will head out on the road to take on the Milford Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Coolidge is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Wednesday, Coolidge lost to Avalon on the road by a decisive 43-25 margin.
Meanwhile, Milford entered their tilt with Bynum with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Milford was the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over Bynum. Milford has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Coolidge's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Milford, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Coolidge suffered a grim 44-18 defeat to Milford when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Coolidge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
