Schulenburg won the last time they faced Shiner and Jenna Guentert did her part to make sure it happened again. The Shorthorns blew past the Comanches 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Guentert, who had 14 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.
Schulenburg never let Shiner on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-11.
The victory made it two in a row for Schulenburg and bumps their season record up to 27-14. As for Shiner, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-16.
